PSA Youtube Comments relating to stress & PSA Outline

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzrjEP5MOT4

This is a video from ASAPScience about stress and whether it can actually kill an individual. I do confirm that stress can actually kill an individual. Some of the ways to improve the high level of stress is to have more interaction among other people.

This is a PSA video to get all the animals spayed and neutered. So many animals are being put down for not having loving homes. One thing I got out from this video is how the veterinarian talks about how hard it is to put down an animal. It is stressful to put an animal down and can affect the veterinarian's health.

Your PSA:

  • What are the key points you will emphasis?
    • Some of the key points I will address are stress and animal euthanization
  • What visual and audio are appropriate?
    • Animals, doctors, sadness, speak in front of the camera and narrate.
  • What type of PSA you will use?
    • I'm doing the typically sad PSA you normally see in television with the ASPCA.
  • Outline of proposed structure.
    • In the beginning of the video, I'll show sad animals from my local animal shelter or veterinary office. I'll play sad music. Then I'll transition the sadness into hope and resolute. I'll probably ask for donations as part of my fundraisers.

Capstone Project Statement of Intent

One of our everyday problems we, as human, inevitably face is stress. Having too much stress can affect the person mentally and physically. Veterinarians are among the most stress occupational career out of most careers. Excessive work hours, extensive work load, euthanize beloved animals, and the list goes on and on. These stressors can lead to increase use of drugs, consumption of alcohol, and suicidal rates. My capstone project involves finding ways to improve the working environment not just for veterinarians but for any career occupations. It will be ways I can apply to my career, a veterinarian, to have an awesome time working with low levels of stress.
